Services provided by Maholnap Foundation for the representatives of the business sector
- Monitoring topics. Searching to find such current needs of NGOs, which conform to corporate policy on donating.
- Develop a donating profile, mechanism and grant-making system that fit the donating policy and marketing strategy of the given company. Defining the target group and the project worth to be supported, that fit the corporate image most, so that endowment would go to the appropriate place according to the donor's intentions.
- Preliminary Filtering Service. This means the examining of applications and requests submitted to the company - according to a system elaborated previously together with the company -, their pre-evaluation, and assessment based on the local monitoring of Maholnap Foundation employees and regional representatives.
- Organizing the distribution of in-kind and financial support of companies assigned for charitable purposes, monitoring on-going projects, and accounting for them. On request they organize publicity concerning the donating activity.
- Counselling: providing experts in the long run specialized in corporate donating.
- Forwarding endowments: invites open tenders for civil organizations on financial support. It provides professional judgement, distributes the amount cost-effectively, continuously and objectively controls the project, and accounts for it. Prepares a final statement of accounts for the donor company.
Prepares a report on the results and success of the project.
- Organizing volunteer actions: that reflect towards society the sense of social responsibility of the applying firms. Maholnap Foundation creates contact between organizations of the non-profit making sector in need of support and the firms applying for volunteer work, and its employees. This is based on a bilateral needs-survey, taking on the task of preparing, organizing, carrying through and controlling one-day actions and endeavouring to get publicity to these. Physical work done together - especially for those who have white-collar job - is an interesting challenge, giving variety and a good opportunity for group development.
- Project monitoring service is the monitoring and accounting of the on-going supports, assigned for charitable purposes in a company.
- Training: in the context of intersectorial partnership-development. Training, promoting the work of elaboration of corporate tender systems for charitable purposes, and their management. Other training consists of helping the corporate decision-making mechanism and the development and maintaining of contacts with the civil society.
- Reporting: Writing regular reports for the donating companies and private persons involved in projects already realized and the development of the local civil sector.
- Publicity: with the donor's consent, organizing publicity on the activity of the company and providing information on the projects already realized.
- Donors' club: inviting significant and /or regular supporters to a friendly circle.
- Organizing a donors' conference: to share experiences of corporate charity donating, image-building charity initiatives and that of supporting policy.
